Sarah Mansour serves as General Counsel and Privacy Officer at Mazda Canada Inc. Sarah provides legal, strategic, and risk management advice to the senior management team and Mazda Canada’s various business lines. Sarah’s practice includes marketing and advertising, privacy, corporate compliance and regulatory affairs, dealer matters, commercial matters, consumer relations and litigation management.
Prior to joining Mazda Canada, Sarah served as Corporate Counsel at Cox Automotive Canada Company Canada where she oversaw legal services to all aspects of the organization’s business, with a particular emphasis in corporate/commercial law and in digital software, financial and wholesale and e-commerce solutions for consumers and dealers on a national basis. Before making a career shift to automotive, Sarah worked as Corporate Counsel at l’Institut du Savoir Montfort, l’Hopital Montfort’s research arm which has established itself as a Canadian leader in francophone research and education.
Sarah currently serves as Vice – Chair of the Global Automakers of Canada’s Legal Committee and as Vice-Chair of the Law Society of Ontario’s Annual In-House Legal Summit. She also serves as Legal Advisor and Council Member for Empowering Auto, which aims at helping draw more women and members of underrepresented groups to the ever-growing automotive sector. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences and graduated from le Programme du droit Canadian at the University of Ottawa, completing her common law and civil law degree in both of Canada’s official languages.
