George Wolf joined HNTB Corporation, a national transportation infrastructure consulting firm, in March 2020, as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, following his retirement as a Circuit Court Judge for the State of Missouri. Prior to being appointed to the bench by the Governor in August 2017, George practiced law for Shook, Hardy & Bacon for 31 years. In addition to representing HNTB for 25 years, he served on the firm’s Executive Committee and as Chair of the General Litigation and Business Services Division.
George has been a member of IADC since 2008. He is a proud member of the 2013 Chuck Cole All-Stars Trial Academy Faculty. He currently serves as the Corporate Counsel Vice-Chair of the Construction Law and Litigation Committee and as a member of the Annual Meeting CLE Steering Committee and the Corporate Counsel Committee.
In terms of community and civic activities, George served for 10 years on the Board of Commissioners for Port Authority of Kansas City, Missouri, including 5 years as Chair. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Kansas City Streetcar Transportation Development District and on the Executive Committee of the Downtown Council of Kansas City.
George earned a law degree from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri.
